The Ely Art Society is a group of artists and art enthusiasts, who meet monthly.
The Membership consists of artists with a range of artistic abilities both professional and amateur. Meetings are on the second Friday of each month, with practical and informative demonstrations delivered by established Artists from around the country, in various media. Workshops together with painting and sketching days are also part of the Ely Art Society’s programme.
An annual exhibition of participating members’ artwork is held locally in Ely in August. This is an opportunity for members to display and sell their work.
Meetings are held in the Methodist Meeting Rooms Ely, CB6 1AD which is adjacent to the car park off St Mary’s Street, Ely for easy access.
All meetings start at 7:30 pm and close at 9:30. Guests and visitors are welcome and pay only a nominal fee to attend.
